Plate Count Agar is used for enumerating bacteria in water, wastewater, food and dairy products.TTC is a redox indicator that is colorless in the oxidized form. TTC is reduced to insoluble riphenylformazan by certain actively metabolizing bacteria, resulting in a red color in the presence of bacterial growth.
