Falcon microplates are offered in a variety of configurations that meet
a wide array of assay needs for high throughput drug screening applications
including fluorescence, luminescense, and absorbance assays. The BD Falcon
polystyrene microplates are tissue culture treated using a highly controlled
vacuum-gas plasma process that produces a more consistent and even surface for
cell attachment, spreading, and growth. The BD Falcon microplates feature a
unique square well with round corner well geometry designed to minimize wicking
and reduce air bubble formation, while increasing volume capacity and surface
area. BD Falcon Plate dimensions meet industry standards for laboratory
automation equipment and robotic compatibility. The total volume per well is
120µL, with a typical working volume of 25–90µL. |
