Falcon Microplates are offered in a variety of configurations that meet
a wide array of assay needs for high throughput drug screening applications.
The plate format allows assay protocols to run in a smaller volume, resulting
in reagent cost savings. These BD Falcon polystyrene microplates feature a
unique square well with round corner well geometry designed to minimize wicking
and reduce air bubble formation while increasing volume capacity and surface
area. Plate footprint and dimensions meet industry standards and
specifications, allowing compatibility with laboratory automation equipment and
robotics. The total volume per well is 120µL, with a typical working
volume of 25–90µL. An A1 notch located on all plates facilitates
plate orientation. Clear alphanumerics on each plate enable quick and
convenient readability. The standard, untreated surface is ideal when a low to
medium binding surface is required. BD Falcon Plates are used in fluorescent,
luminescent, and absorbant assays. |
