Merck Chromatography Sorbents suit the most stringent quality requirements.
Bulk density is 0.35g/mL for particle sizes less than 40µm and 0.5g/mL
for particle sizes from 40–500µm. All aluminum oxides are activated.
Activity level (I,II, or III) refers to the Brockmann activity. Relative
activity is related to the water content of the sorbent, with the most active
at I and least active at III. Extra pure acid washed silica gels (EM-7754-1,
EM-7754-3)
are also available.
