GENESYS 10 Spectrophotometers is used for testing water and wastewater, inorganics, food and beverages, as well as quality control of chemicals or life science applications. GENESYS 10 Spectrophotometers features include chemical-resistant surfaces, rugged design, user-friendly interface, powerful optical design, flexible sample handling, and versatile software with SmartStart* that enables users to pre-select test methods that will appear on the start-up screen. GENESYS 10 Spectrophotometers has a large graphical LCD display allows easy viewing of instrument conditions and results. GENESYS 10 Spectrophotometers unique optical design dramatically reduces stray light and produces a precisely focused image on the sample. GENESYS 10 Spectrophotometers imaging allows the use of microcells without special cell holders and ensures the accuracy of your results every time. The visible GENESYS 10 Spectrophotometers features a tungsten lamp and single detectors. The UV-visible GENESYS 10 Spectrophotometers features a xenon flashlamp and dual detectors for an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio. The xenon lamp flashes only when needed during measurements resulting in extended lamp life and lower operating costs. Xenon lamp has distinct and uniform emission lines that allow wavelength accuracy and resolution to be verified across the wavelength range. Scanning GENESYS 10 Spectrophotometers enable the running of full-scale scans up to 10,000nm/minute and the printing of text graphics to external PCL printers. GENESYS 10 Spectrophotometers include cell correction software to automatically blank six unmatched cuvettes. Routine absorbance and transmittance measurements can be determined from the instrument’s main screen using a very simple three-step process. Concentration measurements only require two additional steps: measuring and entering the concentration of the standard. Cell changer buttons rotate samples into position. GENESYS 10 Spectrophotometers are available with a built-in 7.6cm (3") wide printer that documents all parameters including time, date, test name, data, and final results. Printer also displays graphs, statistics, and sample number, making it ideal for Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) requirements.
