Pall Jumbosep Centrifuge Devices replaces dialysis, chemical precipitation, and lyophilization in the following applications: concentrating and desalting proteins and nucleic acids; buffer exchange or salt removal of chromatography eluates and gradient fractions; separation of biomolecules from cell culture supernatants; virus concentration or removal; crude fractionation of dilute protein mixtures; purification and clarification of tissue homogenates; and removal of debris and particulates from cell lysates. Pall Jumbosep Centrifuge Devices concentrates 60mL volumes to 5mL in less than 30 minutes. Pall Jumbosep Centrifuge Devices sealing mechanism prevents solution bypass or cross-contamination. Pall Jumbosep Centrifuge Devices has a built-in dead stop which prevents spinning to dryness. Pall Jumbosep Centrifuge Devices available with low-protein binding Omega (modified polyethersulfone) membrane inserts. Pall Jumbosep Centrifuge Devices starter kits and accessories are reusable. Pall Jumbosep Centrifuge Devices generic starter kit 28143-860 comes without a membrane insert. Nonsterile. Pall Jumbosep Centrifuge Devices may be sanitized by filtering 70% ethanol through the device prior to use. Pall Jumbosep Centrifuge Devices requires swinging bucket rotor that accepts 250mL bottles.
