Macrosep Centrifuge Devices, Pall
Pall Macrosep Centrifuge Devices are used to concentrate and desalt proteins, DNA and RNA; buffer exchange or remove salt from chromatography eluates and gradient fractions; recover proteins or other molecules from cell culture supernatants; clarify tissue homogenates; concentrate viruses; or wash and concentrate latex suspensions. Pall Macrosep Centrifuge Device concentrates 15mL sample volumes to 0.5mL in 30–60 minutes. Pall Macrosep Centrifuge Device recoveries typically >90%. Pall Macrosep Centrifuge Devices have a built-in deadstop which prevents spinning to dryness. Pall Macrosep Centrifuge Devices have heat-sealing technology which prevents bypass. Polypropylene housing. Pall Macrosep Centrifuge Devices have low protein-binding Omega (modified polyethersulfone) membrane is available in a variety of MWCOs. Pall Macrosep Centrifuge Devices are color-coded for easy identification. Nonsterile. Pall Macrosep Centrifuge Devices may be sanitized by filtering 70% ethanol through the device prior to use. Pall Macrosep Centrifuge Devices requires a fixed-angle or swinging bucket rotor that accepts 50mL tubes, and is capable of up to 5000g.
