PolyVENT Vessel Venting Filters, Whatman
These lightweight venting filters are constructed from a single standardized set of materials (polypropylene and PTFE). Ideal for both small laboratory scale and large process size vessels. Filters allow only sterile, microfiltered air to replace the liquid drawn off for use. Pressure within a sealed vessel is equalized with external atmospheric pressure, and reaction gases are safely vented off without contaminating either the environment or the tank contents. Filters are autoclavable, biosafe, and have a hydrophobic
0.2µm PTFE membrane.
